Assessment and treatment of children and adolescentsTo set up an appointment, see Contact Information.
I have worked with youth ages 0-18 and their families for over 15 years. I have experience assessing ADHD and treating children and adolescents for a variety of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, school refusal, tics, hair pulling, trauma, and adjustment to situational stressors.
I provide diagnostic assessments and treatment planning for preschoolers, children and adolescents. I see youth in individual therapy or family therapy as needed.
I received my Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Nebraska in 1992 after completing an internship in Clinical Child and Pediatric Psychology at the Medical University of South Carolina. After graduation, I pursued a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Florida Health Sciences Center. I have worked as an outpatient therapist for the past 15 years, practicing in Florida, Colorado, and Minnesota. I worked for 10 years in a medical clinic in Minnesota before opening my own practice in 2008. I am a member of the American Psychological Association and the Minnesota Psychological Association.
